About DREWspective
DREWspective is the weblog of Drew Maughan: an experienced web developer, artist, writer and coder, with some social commentation on the side. What he lacks in social experience, he makes up for with deep thought and research.
Drew has been writing on the web (albeit with disastrous results) since 2003, which is one of his outlets for pressing issues and random thoughts. DREWspective was created in late 2007 after a long hiatus from weblogging, and while his writing has become more thoughtful and calculated, his views are still sometimes controversial.
As crazy and insane some of his writing is, he speaks from experience. Drew never mentions or raises any issues that haven’t actually happened in his life.
Okay, enough of the third person referencing.
Right now I’m focused on personal development in general, and my career as both a web developer and an artist. For the last five years or so I’ve been engrossed in technology and making employers happy, but I would really like to spend more time promoting my [small] body of artwork, and on occasion some YouTube videos.
Other things I talk about on DREWspective are the wonderful minefields surrounding fishkeeping, and – everybody’s favourite topic – relationships.
Some legalese: the views and comments expressed in DREWspective are those of their relevant authors, and you are advised not to take anything said on this site literally.
The goal of DREWspective isn’t to convert or taint anyone, but to inspire readers to think about the issues raised. It doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree with anything I say, but what does matter is that you leave with your own opinion.
