What’s In MY Name?

The name Gordon Ramsay is associated with high-quality fine dining, as Jim Rohn is associated with personal development. The names Tracey Emin, Andy Warhol and a few others are associated with different genres of art. Colonel Sanders is synonymous with fried chicken, as Donald Trump is with money (or specifically billions of dollars).

What is your name associated with?

I know what I’d like my name to be associated with: when people think of me, I want them to think of creativity. I would really like to be remembered as one of our generation’s most skilled, most creative and out-of-the-box-thinking artists and web developer, even if it means I’m perceived as being insane.

But that probably doesn’t come close to what my name’s associated with now!

I guess I thought about that question myself, because of what the weblog’s stats are telling me. Since the site went down because of a virus, the only search terms I’ve seen were literally my name. Even though I’ve been aware of having a stalker in the last few months, I have no idea why someone would find me that fascinating [yet].

It scares me quite a bit to think of what people are finding when they search for my name on the Internet – or, more importantly, what they’re looking for. The only thing I can do really is to make sure that anything I put out on the Internet is of some good.
