This week I wanted to go a few days without food, just so I could get back on track with my weight loss. After all, while three stones in two months is impressive, five stones in four months isn’t really. Mind you, a five stone loss in itself is still impressive.
Anyhow, I was doing all right until lunchtime, where I had another one of those tasty sandwiches from the post office. On the plus side, it was a basic chicken salad sandwich with brown bread. (Would taste so much better with soft brown bread, though.) Still, there were moments where I could feel ketosis coming back.
I’ve also been extremely bad with the gym this week. I hadn’t gone over the weekend, and last night would have been the perfect opportunity – but I’d tried to catch a salsa class in Ealing, which ended up being impossible to get to on time. The two hour journey home from work strikes again.
I’d only managed to get three hours’ sleep last night, because I was up with little brother playing the heck out of Gears Of War 2. That game is so good, I’m seriously hoping there’s going to be a 3.
